The longer a ride is, the harder it is for a rider to maintain the ergonomically correct hand position on the bike. As a result, riders often bend their wrists too much, stressing nerves and tendons and inhibiting blood circulation. Numbness and pain in your hands are often the undesirable consequences. The GA3 grip optimizes the hand position through the Miniwings and prevents over-bending in your wrist. What is the carpal tunnel? The carpal tunnel is an anatomic passage in your wrist for nerves and tendons running from the lower arm to the hand. If the wrist is bent too much the nerves become constricted, which often leads to pain and numbness. More comfort is ensured by the three-part internal support platform with varying wall thickness. German-made rubber compound is of the purest quality. The bar end of the GP2 has been re-engineered, and improvements made to the product – better ergonomics, function and a higher quality feel. The GP2 now has a bar end with an installation friendly clamping system – as do all Ergon bar end models. This makes fitting extremely simple. Carbon bar compatible.

The Format is our first single clamp grip for those who like to make use of the full width of their bars, allowing you to run your hands right up to the edge. We had found some single clamp grips suffer from additional twisting, which is why we designed the sleeve to snugly fit the bars towards the ends. After examining wear patterns of grips that have been through the ringer, we implemented several different patterns and zones into the format to deal with the different dynamics going on in each part of your hand.
